Strategy Workshops

Sometimes, you need to align different intranet stakeholders around a common goal.  The most effective way of doing this is to bring them together, physically or in a virtual set-up, and work through a structured thought process.

NetJMC plays a leadership role and leads the work group through steps, facilitating the decision-making. Workshops are prepared in advance in coordination with the intranet manager or team who may wish to play a co-facilitation role.

The deliverable differs based on the goals. It may be a document, a roadmap, a report with diagrams or a presentation for senior management decision-makers.

Strategy workshops are very useful if you’re faced with one of the following situations:

  • You are moving from multiple intranets to an enterprise intranet or portal.
  • You wish to evolve towards a user-centric approach for the intranet and your organization is global and complex.
  • Your organization has merged with or acquired another organization and you need to evolve towards a shared intranet.
  • You need to prioritize actions and allocate scarce resources.
  • You need to define a new governance model or update the current one.
  • You have differing viewpoints among key stakeholders and this is preventing the intranet from fulfilling its potential.

If you think this approach may be useful for you, contact us and we’ll explore possibilities.
