The framework for the survey as defined by myself and the Advisory Board came down to eight behaviors. The traditional mindset and the gig mindset are posed as opposites on the table, but in reality, people find themselves at different points along the spectrum, and individual people see themselves at multiple points on the spectrum depending on context and circumstances.
Survey participants were asked to position themselves on a 5-point scale between the traditional vs. the gig mindset.
